ÖMSUBM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

Willkommen beim ÖMSUBM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon!
Bei diesem Edit-a-thon werden wir versuchen österreichische Schwarze Entertainment Geschichte bei Wikipedia einzuschreiben. Also Artikel zu wichtigen Persönlichkeiten anlegen, Edits beanstanden und in den Foren ausdiskutieren, warum es Artikel zu zB Kim Cooper (The Rounder Girls), Mani Obeya (Sofa Surfers) u.a. auf Wikipedia unbedingt braucht.
Um 19 Uhr gibt es im Rahmen des Edit-a-thons eine Keynote von Dr Jillian Augustine-Rubak über Diversität im digitalen Raum, Data und Machine Learning Algorithmen sowie Vorurteile beim Programmieren und wie man dagegen vorgehen kann.

Welcome to the ÖMSUBM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon!
At the edit-a-thon we will try to bring more Austrian Black entertainment history into Wikipedia. Articles on important personalities will be created, edits made to existing articles and discussions held in the Wikipedia chat-forums, on why articles on Kim Cooper (The Rounder Girls), Mani Obeya (Sofa Surfers) and others need to be featured on Wikipedia.
As part of the Edit-a-thon at 7 pm there will also be a keynote by Dr Jillian Augustine-Rubak on diversity in the digital space. She will introduce us to the topics of data and machine learning algorithms, as well as coded biases and how to tackle them.
